REVEALING OUR COUNTRY'S UNTOLD HISTORY

School Adoption ProgramThis summer, CAP will be expanding its educational outreach projects by adopting a school in a low-income neighborhood in Karachi. We are committed to working towards a more equitable, tolerant and progressive society and believe that education is the key to achieving it. The school will educate children for free from primary school through Matric. Its students will have access to a well-equipped library, computer and science laboratories, art supplies, sports equipment and stimulating extra-curricular activities. We will be overseeing every stage of the project to ensure that experienced teachers are hired and trained and that our mission of peace and social justice awareness is furthered through education. CAP is currently raising funds in order to provide children with the learning experience they deserve. These funds will contribute to building renovations, the construction of a safe playground and the purchase of desks, chairs, books, lab equipment, computers and other educational material. We will also be having a summer program which will provide students with basic English, math and science skills so they are prepared for the academic year ahead. Donations and volunteers are welcome and greatly appreciated. For more information, please contact citizensarchive@gmail.com. If you are interested in volunteering or participating in a summer internship with the school adoption project, please send your resume to jobsatcap@gmail.com. |
